Nicol Street is off Kloof Street, leading to Kloof Nek Road one of South Africa’s oldest roads, built by the British in 1848 as the supply route over Table Mountain’s “nek”, their garrison at Camps Bay.
Today it remains the route to the fabulous beaches of Cape Town and the scenic coastal drive through Hout Bay to the wild beauty of Cape Point Nature Reserve where Africa’s two oceans meet.
